The death has occurred of Helen MEEHAN (née Shields) Bray, Wicklow

Helen Meehan (née Shields) of Freshwater, Manley, Sydney, Australia and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow, died on 15th January, 2016, peacefully, in her sleep, following a long illness, surrounded by her loving husband Andrew and cherished daughters Kate and Emma. Dearly loved daughter of John and May Shields and loving sister of Ivan and Richard; she will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by the Shields and Meehan families and by her many friends in Australia and Ireland.

A Service of Remembrance will he held on Tuesday, January 26, at 11.00am in Christ Church, Church Road, Bray.

Frank Smith of Killiney, Co. Dublin and Hollywood, Co. Wicklow, died on 19th January, 2016, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Blackrock Hospice. Loved and missed by his wife Marion, children Andrew and Dawn, daughter-in-law Stacey, siblings Maureen, Peter, Tom and Kirsty and by his extended family and friends.

A private cremation will take place prior to a Service of Thanksgiving, in Dun Laoghaire Methodist Church, Northumberland Avenue, on Saturday, January 23, at 12 noon. Donations, in memory of Frank for Blackrock Hospice, can be made at the church.

Beloved husband of Cathleen (nee Canavan) & devoted father of Pamela, Nicole & Sinéad. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughters, son-in-law Ian, granddaughters Jade & Erin, mother-in-law Dorrie, father-in-law Mark, extended family & friends.

Reposing at his residence from 2pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 10.15am to St.’s Mary & Patrick’s Church arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Castlemacadam Cemetery.

Mago Dunne of County Wicklow and late of Rathfarnham Park, Dublin 14, died on 20th January, 2016, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin. Loving wife of Graeme and dear mother of Jack and Max, beloved daughter of the late Liam and Nancy Dunne and darling sister of John and Adam; very sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, nephews, cherished friends and neighbours.

 

Funeral Service on Saturday, 23rd January at 11.30am in BrookHall, BrookLodge, Macreddin Village, Co. Wicklow followed by burial in Greenane Cemetery.

Will be resting at home from 2pm on Sunday 31st January until his removal to St Peter’s Church, Kiltegan at 2pm on Monday 1st February. Funeral service at St Peter’s Church at 2.30 o’clock followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. David will repose at his home from 3pm until 6pm on Sunday afternoon. Removal on Monday morning at 9.30am via St Patrick’s Road to St Patrick’s Church arriving at 9.50am for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Rathnew Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Sadly missed by her daughter Margaret, sons Paul, Dermot and Vincent, son-in-law Sean, daughters-in-law, sisters Maureen and Biddy, brother Sean, sisters-in-law Bridie, Muriel and Violet, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Margaret’s home, on Monday from 12 noon and on Tuesday from 12 noon. Removal on Wednesday at 11.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Barndarrig, arriving for Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Rathnew Cemetery.

Wicklow) January 24th. 2016 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge and surrounded by her daughters, Bridget (Bridie), beloved wife of the late Peter (Joe), much loved mother of Marie Saul and Irene Moore and a devoted grandmother to Neil, Jennifer, Andrew and Laura. Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, sisters Maura and Sally, brothers Tom, Dick and Pat, grandchildren, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
